The last line of the Plestinian Mahmoud Darwish poem “‘An Insaan” from the collection “Awraaq Al-Zaytoun” (Arabic: Olive Leaves) published in 1964: “As the seeds of a wheat plant die it will fill the valley with wheat”
The line refers to wheat plants sprouting from seeds that have dried and fallen to the ground.
